To meet an increasing workload and support the development and growth of our company, Kelvin Power, have a permanent position for an experienced Revit Technician within the Civil and Structural Engineering Department.
Kelvin Power provides a wide range of engineering consultancy services on major infrastructure projects in the Energy Sector and have a 40 strong team of experienced multi-disciplinary engineers and technicians delivering solutions to projects across the UK and ROI.
Responsibilities
Create civil and structural models and drawings for teams to work on
Meet project requirements in collaboration with other disciplines
Review project files for compliance with Standards/protocols Implement best practice procedure
Key Skills and Experience
Minimum of ten years AutoCAD and Revit experience.
Experience of delivering infrastructure projects to challenging deadlines
Excellent detailing skills
Knowledge of industry standards and ability to translate requirements to CAD
Able to work on own initiative
Excellent interpersonal skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
HND/degree (or equivalent experience) in civil engineering studies

Location: Leicester/Stafford/Glasgow/Coventry/London Salary: £50000-£65000+ Car Allowance + Bonus
Purpose
To provide leadership in the Kelvin Power’s structure function and to provide project oversight on procurement and delivery of the structures for the business.
Key Responsibilities
To lead the project management and procurement services function within Kelvin Power and Vinci Energies in Transmission and Distribution Domain
To own the profit and loss account for the Kelvin Power Structure and ensure a continuous growth year on year (turnover, client portfolio, and operating profit) and ensure we can maintain a safe and compliant business
To define the strategy for a product business (identification of key markets, securing work, supply-chain strategy)
To ensure the procurement and project management of the projects in the structure business follows the agreed IMS process
To manage the relationship with supply-chain (fabricators), and coordinate site visits for inspection, quality control, and checks on product supplied to the clients
To lead client engagements, lead on developing the proposals, winning work and delivering projects and to empower team-members to assist in growing the businessTo hold the responsibility of project management of a portfolio of projects within Kelvin Power and to maximise the revenue, and margin (E-result)
Requirements
Experience of managing a team
Ability to train and mentor more junior members of the team
Experience of SHEQ processes in a product line business
Experience of whole project process from fee proposals and concept design to project completion strong technical ability with in-depth experience of designing in all main materials
